The window doors are curious... they feel like a bunker. Is the sign also in Old Croatian and German?
ReplyDelete@Cristobal - the level of security is very strange. I'm not sure if there was something that needed such protection a few centuries ago and these guys renovated it according to the old blueprints or there's just an odd and seriously paranoid family living there :-D. Other windows in the old town don't have bars on them or such shutters. Yup, you're right about the sign :)
ReplyDeleteThose window shutters are like a bank fortress!
ReplyDeletePretty amazing yet there are paranoid people everywhere. Great capture.
ReplyDeletePerhaps the winds are very very strong??

@bitingmidge - nah, not in Zagreb, but good idea :)))
ReplyDeleteWow! This is impressive! Great photo! My Spanish is not very good...it must be a government building?
ReplyDeleteThere are a lot of insecure people in the world.
