Subtle decorations which blend well with quiet and slower life in the Old (Upper) town include a large Xmas tree in front of St. Marko's church. A bit of snow covers the colorful roof of the church:

Very nice looking Christmas tree is very festive.
ReplyDeleteExcellent effect of the photo :) I may be going tomorrow to hunt for Christmas decoration, but that depends on how busy I'll be with my moving.
ReplyDeleteYou either used a flash or "painted" the scene with a flashlight...whatever, it is a great job; very dramatic.
ReplyDeleteDoth look rather chilly, though!
@Jacob - no, I never use flashlight while shooting night scenes... I haven't even done any color corrections in Picasa, just resized the image. The only lights in the photo come from street lights, Xmas tree and a car's headlights in the lower right corner.
ReplyDeleteLovely photograph of Sv. Markov Trg.
ReplyDeleteIt's a lovely photo of the elegant Christmas tree in front of the beautiful church! It gets us into the Christmas spirit! Merry Christmas from EAGAN daily photo
