Xmas is here...

I guess this plant (Red Poinsettia) is a sign that Xmas is here. And, as every year, there's little chance mine will survive another week or two to see Xmas (I'm really good at killing them quickly :(... poor thing).

    Divna biljka, raste u divljini u Indiji i prilicno je visoka biljka, ko grmlje ili cak ko korov, ima ga uz cestu.

    I usually am but my poinsettia has been roughly treated this year and is nowhere near red tips as yet.

    @zvrk - nisam imala pojma da je to indijska biljka. Kak' smo mi to preuzeli za Xmas biljku da mi je samo znati...

    @Julie - I have issues with flowering plants or plants with colored leaves :). Completely green plants grow at my place like mad even though I keep forgetting to water them - my friends have already asked me if there's something radioactive in my place, esp. near one green plant - it has a new leaf every week and it grew over 1.5m in less than a year. For comparison, my friend who has identical plant, can't get it to grow more than a leaf per year, and after 6 years it's still at 40cm height :)
