Fresh indeed - nothing like a fresh young man in uniform!
I love the intensity of the light here, Mirela. The shadows are so clear cut. I like the cobblestones throughout Europe. Here in Australia we do have bricks but mostly we have bitumen or concrete. Not attractive ...
@ Julie - LOL, I agree , though knight's uniform isn't my thing (too many layers ;-)). This whole area was renovated this year... it was being renovated for at least 15 years, but they finally finished a few months ago and removed the scafolding. Now there are more and more locals who go around exploring and enjoying the new Old town.
@ Jaca - I didn't crop out a bare arm to the right in the photo (a person one of the "knights" was talking to)... it's amazing how well they were handling it. Not sure that will be the case this weekend (the forecast is ~40C)

@ Abe - wow, I was right when I said it was bird watcher's paradise! I haven't thought of the hygiene point... I guess they do take showers too often to be truly representative of that period, but I'm also sure tourist and locals alike are thankful for that :-)))))
